Fan Truth: A new McDonald’s sauce is the most important moment in a sauce lover’s year.

For McDonald's 2023 Sauce campaign, I worked on a series of TV commercials and radio spots to introduce McDonald’s new limited time sauces, the Mambo Sauce and Sweet & Spicy Jam.

Led by Weiden + Kennedy, we adapted the campaign and created original work to specifically target the Hispanic Consumer Market.

In the mind of sauce fans.

A new McDonald’s sauce is the most important moment in a sauce lover’s year. To properly celebrate Sweet & Spicy Jam and Mambo Sauce, we had to get into the mind of sauce fans.

We worked with some of the internet’s biggest sauce lovers/ influencers for the day of McDonald’s double sauce drop.

…And then, there's McDonald’s innovators, those who try unexpected things, those that know how to pair crunchy and creamy, sweet and spicy, especially when it comes to the new Sweet & Spicy Jam. I’m talking about the ones that know how to perfectly balance that QPC-new Mambo Sauce ratio in every bite, and leave the table without a trace.

For these visionaries, there’s the new Sweet & Spicy Jam and Mambo Sauce– new to the McDonald’s menu.
