Fan truth: McD’s is the place that grandmas become superheroes.

Treat yourself. It’s what grandma would want. This was the starting off point to introduce McDonald’s new Grandma McFlurry, an ode to grandmas everywhere. We worked on an original OLV targeting the U.S. Hispanic market, as well as a sweepstakes extension below.

In honor of Grandma.

Following Wieden + Kennedy’s Sweet Treats campaign, which launched the Grandma McFlurry in honor of our favorite treat-toting granny, we partnered with Award-winning Reggaeton artist and songwriter Jay Wheeler to remake the classic “Piel Canela” and launch a sweepstakes prompting TikTokers to take their grandma on an “Abuela Date” to try the Grandma McFlurry.
